We Assign a Pickup Agent Right Away
As soon as your donation is submitted, we assign it to a pickup agent in your area — usually immediately. You’ll receive an email with the agent’s contact information.
You’ll Hear from the Pickup Agent — Usually Within Hours
Most donors receive a scheduling text or call from the pickup agent within hours of submitting — often on the same day, even on weekends. For higher-value vehicles going to auction, the agent typically calls back within an hour.
Free Tow Arrives at Scheduled Time
The tow driver arrives at your location at the agreed time, picks up the vehicle, and gives you your initial donation receipt on the spot.
Tax Receipt After the Sale
Your initial receipt at pickup is your tax documentation if the vehicle sells for less than $500. If it sells for $500 or more, we’ll also mail you IRS Form 1098-C within 30 days of the sale. See our tax deduction guide for more.
