Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul.

I came across this quote when scrolling through my Instagram feed and really paid attention. Why? Because this is the third time this week that I've seen someone specifically talking about gratitude and how important it is. I started reflecting on whether or not I have been practicing gratitude in my own life and I realized that I can definitely improve in this area. I know that many people swear that just practicing gratitude--for the good and the bad, can actually make the good things we're seeking manifest themselves and become a reality. Gratitude is powerful! In the very least, practicing gratitude will lift our spirits and help us to feel happier and more joyful.

Here's another beautiful quotation about gratitude: “Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.” ~ Melody Beattie
