Cars 2 Care-How to Donate a Car and Get FMV Tax Deductions
Do you have a vehicle in good condition that runs and can be used by a needy individual or family? Donate a Car 2 Charity has a program which can help you do just that. Through their Cars 2 Care program, Donate a Car 2 Charity aims to donate cars to qualifying individuals. A few highlights for this program in 2011 include
A 2001 Lincoln Navigator donated in June, 2011 to a low income family with seven children, who had returned from Japan following the earthquake and tsunami of 2010 and are in the process of getting established in California.
A 2004 Honda Gyro Scooter donated in July, 2011 to a tsunami survivor in Japan who had lost everything and needed a pair of wheels in order to get to and from work.
A 2002 Saturn Station wagon donated in August, 2011 to an elderly missionary in Mexico whose car was in such poor shape she was having to ride the bus when she went about her daily missions.
2004 Outback 5th Wheel Trailer donated in August, 2011 to a low income single mother in Texas.
As an added bonus, if your vehicle qualifies for the Cars 2 Care program and goes to a qualifying needy individual, you get to deduct the Fair Market Value tax deduction. So, if you have a car that you think may be perfect for this program, don't delay. Pick up the phone and give us a call at 877-505-5775 or submit your information online at www.donateacar2charity.com.
Even if your car does not qualify for this program and the fair market value tax deduction, all car donations are welcome and make it possible for us to help others through our many varied programs and charitable endeavors. Please note that all donated vehicles are a tax deductible charitable donation, even if they don't qualify for the fair market value tax deduction.
